Time Is Money Achievement

Time Is Money unlocks when you empty the vault in under 60 minutes. On 22 October 2026 the global rate was 20.1%, the lowest of the 16 achievements.

The requirement comes from Steam achievements; the route comes from a player’s v1.1 guide. A settings announcement on 20 October 2026 adds an optional live timer. This site has not tested that timer, the route, or how the achievement handles continued saves.

What the fast guides actually buy

BigButters explicitly describes version 1.1, not a tested 1.2 build. Update 1.2 reworked pocket-bank skills and added a separate board, so check current tooltips before following the old point sequence.

  1. First point into Chutes so coins move at 1 per second instead of only by hand.
  2. Next three points into Deposits, then place the portable bank.
  3. Raise bag capacity on the left of Bags. The guide talks about a late bag near 800,000.
  4. Take a grab skill that pulls 10,000–25,000 when capacity is high. Those grab sizes are the guide’s figures.
  5. Add auto deposit from Utility after the bank is already working.

Do not read 11:03 as the requirement. The achievement is 60 minutes. 11:03 was that author saying they once sat at the top of the 1.1 board.

Checks before abandoning a run

No validated 10-, 25-, or 40-minute restart thresholds are available here. Use the official timer and identify a bottleneck; do not discard a run solely because it misses an invented split.

Questions

Does Keep Playing count?

The 1.1 notes explicitly allow 15 ordinary achievements after Keep Playing, but do not establish Time Is Money eligibility for a continued or upgraded run. That behavior remains untested here. A fresh run avoids relying on an unverified shortcut.
