One Million Coins Game Guides
One Million Coins revolves around collecting and banking 1,000,000 coins from a vault. Start with the core loop, use the beginner guide for upgrade decisions, compare the seven skill branches, and then choose a completion-time goal.
These guides combine official Steam descriptions and screenshots with attributed player routes. No route was timed by this site. Version labels matter: update 1.2 changed pocket-bank skills and created a separate speedrun board.
Read them in this order
Each page answers a different question. Mixing them makes the tree look bigger than the first hour needs.
| Page | Question it answers | When to open it |
|---|---|---|
| How to play | What is a scoop, a bank, and a proficiency? | Before the first deposit |
| Beginner | Bag, magnet, or chute first? | The first hour |
| Skill tree | What are the seven columns? | After the portable bank |
| How long | 2 hours, 100%, or a fast board? | When you care about the clock |
Core loop in one minute
The store describes a short incremental mining game. The screenshots show the same loop with HUD labels.
- Grab coins by hand. The HUD shows a collected bonus and a bag fraction.
- Carry them to the deposit machine and bank them to advance the vault total.
- Buy a proficiency. Nodes cost 1 to 3 points after the 1.1 patch.
- Open a chute or place a portable bank so coins move without a trip.
- Keep capacity ahead of the pile so the bag does not sit full.
What 1.1 and 1.2 changed for guides
On 16 October 2026 ShoXx reworked chutes into a 25-point support lane and stopped upgrades from locking other paths. On 19 October, update 1.2 tightened leaderboard checks because players were editing files to skip time validation. Guide routes written for 1.0 leaderboards are not the current board.
The full 1.2 changelog also removes the first-run proficiency cap, changes pocket-bank skills, and preserves existing saves with their skill version. Sources were checked on 22 October 2026.
